'Rabbit' Hero Assets

Hero assets for the 'Rabbit' character for my personal project.

Note: A lot of these are pre-alpha, so things like topology flow for the pants were not a priority in this iteration. I did a lot of experimenting with Marvelous Designer on the clothes to get the look that I was going for and overall I like how they came out.

Everything in here was created by me in Blender and Marvelous Designer. Rendered in Substance Painter.

I tried to go for a dash of realism that got close to the line, but I planned to use some filters in UE4 to give a more stylized look so photorealism was not a priority, but wanted details where they would matter, especially where brighter colors were concerned.

More breakdown: Rabbit has survived the streets through his maneuverability, and ability to navigate the world around him to use it to his advantage, so a lot of his clothes are lighter and not as restricting.

Hat and Headgear - Two separate assets, giving a more Fallout vibe given the character's packrat and self-reliance on having to muster their own gear.

Outfit - a blend of hipster and biker came out of the final result of this design. Almost everything except the purple long sleeve went through at least two iterations, though the vest went through at least 4 before it got to where it is now. The Rabbit patch was inspired by other logos I found online and also required a few iterations to make it look how I wanted.

Gloves - based on biker gloves, a bit went into modeling it as I could not find a suitable pair to use as a base. Happy with how these came out.

Boots - Based on a parkour boot, it got the least amount of attention since the current design of the character has most of the boot covered by the pant leg. And with the game being at night, you won't see it a lot of the time. But there is definitely room for improvement.

Future notes: Overall I like how this came out though the clothes could use some more wear and tear on them to consider with his lifestyle.
